How do I update my bank connection?

When your bank requires a password reset (every ~90 days), Plaid prompts you to re-authenticate inside Pulse.

Updated May 12, 2026

Banks require periodic re-authentication (typically every 90 days or after you change your bank password). When that happens, Pulse shows a "Reconnect bank" prompt at the top of your dashboard.

  1. Click 'Reconnect bank' from the dashboard top banner
  2. Plaid opens its overlay — log in with your fresh bank credentials
  3. You're back. Pulse picks up where it left off.
If you don't reconnect within 7 days
Pulse shows your last-synced data but stops refreshing. The 13-week forecast becomes stale. Reconnect any time to resume.
